Step 1: Cut the Garskin to size
Cut the Garskin to fit your laptop using a razor blade. We have provided 14”, 15”, 15.4” and 17” marks to give the best guideline to cut the laptop skin to size.

Your Garskin laptop skin is not meant to fit from edge to edge. Depending on the size of your laptop, you may have see a border from 1/8” to ¾” around your Garskin.

TIP: You can cut a rounded corner by placing a coin on the reverse of the laptop skin, trace the curvature of the curvature of the coin using a pen or pencil, and then cutting out the corners by cutting along the curvature line.

Step 2: Prepare Your Laptop Surface
For best results and to prolong the life of your Garskin, clean the surface with water, soap or Windex.

Wipe the surface dry with a piece of cloth.

Step 3: Apply Your Garskin
Align your Garskin to the desired position. Tape the Garskin to the laptop cover at the centre of both the top and bottom edges.

Peel off half the laptop skin from the backing sheet, and tear off the backing sheet.

Flatten the laptop skin using a squeegee, starting from the centre of the laptop. Apply even strokes towards the side of the laptop, so that no air bubbles are trapped within the skin.

Repeat the actions of peeling and flattening the laptop skin for the other side.

Voila, your Garskin is now beautifully installed on your laptop.
