I never thought a piece of hide could be so aesthetically pleasing.

Collecting all kinds of hides has been my favorite hobby ever since I received my first leather wallet as a birthday present when I was 12 years old. Over the years I have amassed a neat collection of snake skin bags, crocodile skin wallets and belts.

Yet when Thomas first showed his laptop emblazoned with a cool-looking laptop skin, I knew I was hooked.

COOL DESIGN

Skinned to perfection was his laptop which was resting on the table

There were psychedelic streaks of the most intense blue and white against a basic black background, evoking imagination of the ponderous cosmos giving birth to life.

Except for the exposed surface around the border of the laptop skin, the laptop cover was adorned with this layer of skin covering almost the entire surface.

EASY TO REMOVE

We were all intrigued by this laptop skin.

"Hey Thomas, can you show us the skin?" one of the onlookers asked. Thomas proceeded to remove the laptop skin.

To remove the laptop skin, simply start from one corner of the laptop skin, and continue pulling until the whole laptop skin comes off.

What was absolutely astonishing was that the whole laptop skin came off in one piece. There was no sticky residual adhesive patches on the laptop cover.

EASY TO APPLY

Applying the laptop skin is also a simple matter. Just simply align the skin on the laptop cover surface, remove the backing sheet from the underside of the laptop skin, and then apply gentle pressure evenly so that the laptop skin sticks to the laptop cover without any air bubbles.

The question had to come:

"I was surfing on the Internet when I saw this cool laptop skin from Garskin," Thomas answered. "It looked so irresistably COOL, I had to get one".

The Garskin laptop skins have even been given a name - Garskins. They have also a passionate fan base who rave about Garskins, and they call themselves GarFans.

Seeing how popular Thomas has become, and more importantly, having fallen in love with laptop skins, I resolved to start my own collection of Garskins.

What about my other skin collection? I guess that will become my second love.
